Google Doc

Google docs is a great way to compose and collaborate with others on documents, charts, and spreadsheets. You can create and access your documents from any computer, which is fantastic. I am supposed to save it to my desktop to upload for my assignment but cannot seem to figure it out! I managed to convert it to microsoft word to download but I think the goal in to turn in a Google doc........frustrated.

Deeeeelicious!

Wow, am I excited to have learned about Delicious.com! I never knew that such a website existed. I have a looong list of bookmarks saved to my browser that is basically useless to me now because there are so many to go through to even remember what I bookmarked! Delicious.com allows me to bookmark my favorite sites and attach tags to them so I can easily navigate my links by topic. Also, since it is saved to a website, I can access my favorites from other computers and I won't lose them when the inevitable computer crash happens! My life just got a whole lot more organized.

Glog Post

My First Blogging Experience

Setting up my new blog was fun for the most part. I enjoyed picking out the different layouts, backgrounds, fonts and colors. It was the part of the assignment where I had to create the different pages when I started to want to pull my hair out. I could not, for the life of me, figure out how to make a new page! I clicked on every link, tab, or button on the screen trying to create a new page. I finally had to call my sister who blogs, to come over and show me how it is done. It turned out to be pretty simple after all. I guess I'm going to struggle with this portion of training....
